Alvaro de la Garza, a commercial lender with 12 years of experience in banking, specializing in commercial lending for a decade. He holds a bachelors degree in business administration from Tec de Monterrey and an MBA from UTRGV. Additionally, he graduated from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking Foundation (SWGSB) at the Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas. He enjoys his role as a commercial lender because it allows him to work closely with both new and established customers, assisting them in realizing their financial goals and projects. He is a current board member of Mr. Amigo Association and the Saint Joseph Academy Golf Committee, and volunteers at non-profit organizations such as the Moody Clinic. Outside of work, he cherishes spending time with his wife and two children, as well as staying active through soccer, pickleball, and golf.
