Quiroga

José (Joe) Quiroga is currently President of Texas National Bank and a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors, a position he has held since 2007 and member of TNB Bancshares corporation.
Texas National Bank is a Hispanic-Owned community bank and CDFI chartered in 1920 out of Mercedes, TX with an emphasis on servicing the small business needs of the Rio
Grande Valley. Since 2007 the Bank has grown from $64 million to $1 billion in assets with ten locations.
Prior to joining Texas National Bank, Mr. Quiroga was Vice President at JPMorgan Chase with positions in Commercial Lending and Private Banking managing both U.S. and International clients. Mr. Quiroga was previously. licensed as a registered Investment Advisor with NASD Series 7, 63 and State of Texas Group 1 insurance license.
Mr. Quiroga is currently serving his second term on the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He previously served on the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council and was appointed as the committee’s national representative in Washington D.C. In addition, Mr. Quiroga serves on the OCC’s Minority Depository Advisory Committee to the Comptroller of the Currency, as a Board Member of the Community Development Bankers Association and the Texas Bankers Association.
Mr. Quiroga’s civic activities currently include serving on Board for the Edinburg’s Boys and Girls Club, Board Member for the TNB Foundation, Board Member of Christian’s Manor, and Board Member of Del Valle Community Development Corp. Previously served as a Board Member of the VAMOS Scholarship Fund.
Mr. Quiroga graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas Pan-American Class of 2000 with a Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Mr. Quiroga’s passions include traveling, fishing, and hunting with his 19-year-old
daughter Kiara.
